Meet Laura Dickie
I've spent almost two decades working in childcare, predominantly as a nanny, including within ultra high net worth private households.
Throughout my career, I've worked alongside housekeepers, chefs, PAs, house managers and many other household professionals, giving me a genuine understanding of private household staffing from the inside.
Over the years, recommendations through my personal network naturally led me into recruitment. I found myself helping families find the right people for their homes, and that's where the idea for Millax began.
I created Millax because I wanted to build an agency that is straightforward, professional and personal. Having worked in private homes myself, I understand how important it is to find the right person, and the trust, discretion and confidence that comes with that decision.
For families, that means having someone who understands what you're looking for and can help you find the right person. For candidates, it means working with a recruiter who genuinely understands the industry and the realities of working within a private household.
